On dreams for your child

DSC_0150 Not too long ago, I was talking to a friend about choices.  Both of us having grown up with similar backgrounds- strict Asian parenting where decisions were often made for us and where paths are  crafted long before our minds have had a chance to contemplate a possibility otherwise.

The greatest gift to someone from a strict upbringing- autonomy.  And in so doing, the greatest show of unconditional love from her parents.
