''I have a low threshold for boredom.'' Ina Garten

For the last few years, I've been fascinated by the catalyst in an individual's life to change.  How one goes from a career in the White House writing nuclear energy policy to being an author and host of a Food Network program is endlessly intriguing to me.  Forbes recently posted an article about Ina and here are three of her tried and tested pieces of wisdom that got bookmarked straight away:

1) Type A people think they can figure out what to do next while they’re doing something, and they can’t, an important part of changing and figuring out what to do next is you have to just stop. I had to get good and bored before I could decide what was next.

2) ‘No’ is a complete sentence.

3) And referencing Oscar Wilde "Work is easy, fun is hard.''
