Balaton is a destination point. A place where many Hungarians escape to summer homes during those long, hot, summer months. By day it's full of activity, children, families... life.

By evening, the lake is quieter and still. The night we came to meet it, we sat on the edge of the dock watching the skies turn the prettiest shades of blues, purples and pinks.

I may never come to own a summer house with docks at the ready, but I know I will forever be a softie for pretty skies and views like this.

  4. Your post should be titled Vanilla Sky. Have you watched the movie?
I actually grow up by the lake, I love looking at water. My lake would look best in the morning, so calm and peaceful. I can't wait to see it again.

    2. I did like it, I even watched it twice, but I like Penelope, I wonder if I would like it if I watched it for the third time.
Anyway, my lake, it's one of the places I can't photograph. It never look right. Maybe my absence will work as my advantage.
