Having a native Hungarian (and also my favorite one at that) play host to Budapest made everything seem extra special. Suddenly statues and buildings had faces and stories, hours were quickly filled with things to do and places to see, strangers became friends and the usual fuss that comes with travel was essentially non-existent.

So it was the biggest treat for me to introduce this previously unknown to him little nook and cranny bistro at the bank of the Danube river.

Fellini is the type of place where you'd want to be at the end of each day- listening to music , having an iced drink and just allowing yourself to breathe a little easier for a short while. picisto-20130802141721-584083 DSC_0237 DSC_0235 (1) Things I adored : being with the sweetest company, the way that life immediately slowed there, the little flags that unravelled when your food was ready to be collected and the fact that it got that laid-back ambience down to an art form. This place is the real deal.

  1. I needed to check twice that you really said it's in Budapest. I would expect it's somewhere at seaside!

    1. Lol, I can see why! It's just at the bank of the Danube river near an area called Romai (in Budapest). It's such a hidden gem Magda :)
