Yesterday, we took a little walk around Dalkey.  Sometimes the hustle and bustle of the city can be a bit overwhelming around Paddy's day and a short break to see a different kind of green is always welcome.

Whether you decide on celebrating this St. Patrick's day out, inside or not at all--here's hoping that a few hours are filled with a little bit of luck and magic.  And if you're in the mood to listen to some new and true Irish bands, sweet Trish of Girl from the Hills put together the most perfect playlist as a way of introduction.

    1. Lol Janis, my first Paddy's day in Ireland was a bit too much of everything in a good and not so good way ;) but since then it's been much more laid-back and easy. And truth be told, I kinda prefer it that way :)

and thank you!! :) Hope you get a bit of green fun into your day today x

  2. Love the playlist Rincy! I love taking day trips out the the seaside, sometimes you need to just get away! I'm lucky that I can visit my family in Skerries if i need to get away! It's such a pretty town, have you ever been there? Ireland can be really nice when it's not freezing and raining like today! :)

Hope you are having a fun St. Patrick's day!

    1. So glad you loved the playlist Emma--songs 3 & 5 keep tugging at my heart strings ever since I've heard them! Trish is beyond amazing at finding little goodies :)

And I am a big fan of little trips away, particularly to the water! I haven't been to Skerries yet. But maybe soon? So glad you have a little place to escape to :)

ps. Today has been a very lazy (but happily so) Patricks day. Hope yours has been sweet! x
