Sick Days

DSC_0698 (2) Fast forward to this morning and I'm sick. Work, no sleep and stress have finally caught up with my wee little immune system. Mustering up the energy to get out of bed when you are feeling a bit sorry for yourself is always tough. Tea with lemon/honey, Nurofen Cold & Flu (my cure for all ailments!) and bowls of simple soups are doing me a world of good right now.  Here's to a quick recovery.

  3. Get well soon, and eat as much garlic as you can, either with toast or in cream of garlic soup. Works as a miracle.

    1. It's a Thai curry soup! One of my little ways of venturing outside of the norm of sick day soups. And thank you Becca, went in for work yesterday and now am feeling the pain of it today! Voice is gone, shivers, runny nose, the whole lot--ugh.

    1. Shoko-- for the first time ever, I didn't open a book (this is VERY unusual for me) and I just stayed curled in a ball in a duvet watching movies and Breaking Bad episodes. But it was oh so good. Now on the mend and I'm still watching Breaking Bad, so addicting.

Hope you're well, thank you for the sweet msg! x
